3. The Flash Also Time Travels

Not content with just one instance of time travel by Superman, Beall's script also included a second jump, this time by The Flash - the other character most associated with time travel in DC's locker.

Apparently, future Lex Luthor would find a way to send Barry back in time, partly using Darkseid's own Boom Tube technology against him, to the time before Darkseid's initial invasion, to help pre-empt Earth's defence.

Sadly, the future Flash only manages to warn the past Justice League members of the terrible future headed their way before dying in his younger self's arms. So as in Batman v Superman, it fell to Flash to warn about a dystopian future if things don't change.
