5. Wonder Woman And Batman Lead The Resistance

In a sort of Terminator style scorched future, a last alliance of super-powered figures is locked in battle with Darkseid from their headquarters in Superman's Fortress Of Solitude.

The resistance would have been led by Wonder Woman, with a grey-haired Bruce Wayne as her right-hand man. By this point, they've rekindled their romance and have a son named Clark Wayne (presumably in honour of Superman after he disappeared on them through the Boom Tube).

It sounds grim, but this war between good and evil with the superheroes as underdogs is definitely a compelling concept and would have been massively entertaining.
