Justice League: 18 Easter Eggs & References We Already Know

3. Hawkman?!

This one is a little more left-field, but according to some eagle-eyed (or should that be hawk-eyed) fans of the trailer, there's a cameo in the flashback sequence that we know will open the movie. As the ParaDemons attack Themyscira during their first attack on Earth, we see a sprawling grand-scale battle that looks like it could rival Lord Of The Rings for scale, and in the sky, there's a familiar looking figure in the distance.

Though the ParaDemons obviously fly, there's something about that figure's golden wing-span that seems at odds with the design we've already seen of the winged warriors of Darkseid (who are also visible in the sky around it). Could it be that this is Hawk-Man - or at least an earlier member of his Thanagarian race?

Given that we know this scene will lead to a split between the worlds of man, Atlantis and Themyscira, perhaps the Thanagarians also helped the battle against the invaders? It would be great to see Hawkman potentially added to the DCEU in some capacity, since he's been a big part of the Justice League's history.

If there's also not a 300 Easter Egg in there somewhere too, I will be massively surprised.
