Justice League: 18 Easter Eggs & References We Already Know

1. Commissioner Gordon's Look

It's been a great move not only casting JK Simmons as the new Commissioner Gordon, but also making him look markedly different to what we've seen before. He's older than the Gary Oldman version - less rough and ready (though we know he's packing some serious muscle under that coat, as Simmons showed on Instagram).

He also make a nod to the Bat-family in the trailer, which is definitely important to Snyder's take on Batman in this movie, as Zack Snyder confirmed:

"He’s been a loner for certainly his crime-fighting career, maybe with the exception of Robin. When we meet him in BvS, he’s definitely at this low point of isolation. That was always our intention, that Justice League would be this continuation for Batman to evolve into a more complete hero."

And his look contains a pretty big Easter Egg too: That moustache is definitely a tribute to one of the best versions of the character seen so far. The shape is too close for it not to be an homage to the Animated Batman version of Gordon.
