Justice League: 4 Reasons It's Already Failed (And 1 Why It Could Succeed)

4. The Avengers

The final reason why the Justice League has already failed is the simplest; The Avengers. While DC may have had their team make their comic debut in 1960 and The Avengers followed suit in 1963, all that matters is who made it to the big screen first. We all know the answer to that. The Avengers was chalked full of entertainment and was everything anyone could have imagined, but I don€™t have to tell you that. The League will be unfairly compared to The Avengers, and under such scrutiny it may well be already too much to overcome. Every character, the tone, the set pieces, even the story, will be studied side by side by audiences. The fact that The Avengers 2 hits the same year will only make things worse for the Warner Brothers and DC brass. Marvel has already revealed Thanos and rumours are alive all over the Internet that Darkseid will be the Justice League villain. Many people are aware that Thanos and Darkseid are eerily similar in more than one way, but Thanos has already been seen by audiences. Good luck convincing a 10-year-old that Justice League did not copy The Avengers.
