Justice League: 8 Big Changes It Will Bring To The DCEU
1. A New Musical Direction
There's been a drastic change in Justice League's music department since Joss Whedon took the directorial baton from Zack Snyder, with Antonius Tom Holkenborg (AKA Junkie XL) exiting the project.
His replacement is none other than Oscar-winning composer Danny Elfman, who isn't a bad guy to have scoring a comic book project since he won an Academy Award for his Batman soundtrack in the late '80s.
Whether his involvement will bring some noticeable sonic differences to the film is unknown, given that Holkenborg has already laid down most of the score, but Elfman's style is certainly distinct.
Elfman has previously collaborated with Whedon on Avengers: Age of Ultron and composed the opening theme to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man series, so there's every reason to believe he will bring something positive to Justice League.
Whether his involvement will pave the way for more work in the DC Extended Universe is up in the air, but he's definitely somebody they want in their corner.
