Justice League Dark Review: 4 Ups & 5 Downs

1. Entertaining Action Sequences

And finally, yes, the action mostly delivers. There are three big set-pieces in the movie, basically one for each "act" of the film, and they do a solid job of showing off the diverse power set of the team, even though, as mentioned, their opponents typically aren't all that memorable or interesting.

It'll definitely leave you craving more and wishing some of the characters were able to do more, especially Swamp Thing, but the action often makes up for the dopey, dull storytelling, even if you sometimes might just want to skip through to the set-pieces (on repeat viewings, assuming there are any, at least).
