13. The Parademons

Confirmed By: CGI, mostly.

Plot Prediction:

The grunts of the DCEU, Darkseid's Parademons are going to be the cannon fodder in this comic book movie (it wouldn't be one without some). They're the huge army commanded by Steppenwolf, making up the invading force that attacks Themyscira in the flashback sequence and also doing his dirty work in the present day.

Inevitably, they're going to be precisely as powerful as the plot needs at various points on a sliding scale. They'll be presented as a major threat, only to be killed off comically easy in battle with anyone even slightly remarkable, but will be almost invincible when it comes to kidnapping the scientists.

That's just how narrative handicapping seems to work in this genre.
