Justice League Film: 10 Continuity Questions That Must Be Answered

6. Bruce's Age And Health?

knee brace At the beginning of The Dark Knight Rises we were given a glimpse to the type of pounding a body can take when someone attempts to be Batman for a sustained period of time. The years were not kind to Bruce as he approached 40 years old in pretty bad physical shape. Oh and then Bane showed up. With the events of Man of Steel probably taking place after the occupation of Gotham, it's not much of a stretch to assume that Bruce will be officially in his 40's when the events of the Justice League film begin. Would he be "too old" to be Batman again? If this was the real world, then probably yes. Luckily Christian Bale's Batman exists in a cinematic universe. Even though Chris Nolan always attempts to keep his character's in a heightened reality, some things are just better left to the suspension of disbelief with a pinch of movie magic. We'll just have to agree that Bruce Wayne's will to act allows him to push his body past the limits of average men, which is pretty much true. Besides, I do not foresee Batman getting into many fistfights with super-powered beings or aliens. He is the brains and strategy of the Justice League and hopefully this movie will demonstrate that.
