Justice League Film: 10 Continuity Questions That Must Be Answered

5. Resources?

wayne fox bunker A funny thing happened on the way to Batman saving Gotham City from Bane. Bruce Wayne went broke. Thanks to the initial portion of Bane's plan, Wayne Enterprises nearly went bankrupt and Bruce Wayne nearly went homeless. According to Lucius Fox, the stock market fiasco would eventually be able to be proven fraudulent but as it stands right now, we don't know for sure. It is easy to imagine a corporation like Wayne Enterprises would do whatever it took to stay financially viable in the months after the occupation of Gotham. I would also imagine that despite Wayne losing most of his stock fortune, he has some cash reserves stashed discretely around the globe just in case. He is Batman after all. Another interesting development by the end of the film was that Bruce Wayne turned over Wayne Manor to the city of Gotham for the care and housing of the city's orphan population. With Bruce now "dead" as far as the public is concerned, it would make it difficult for him to take advantage of his old residence or his technologically advanced basement. All that's left, that the audience knows of, is the bunker located in the shipyards of Gotham Harbor. As I stated before though, the events of a Justice League film will probably not center around one specific city such as Gotham so Batman may be in search of a new cave.
