3. Flash (Barry Allen) - Bradley Cooper
Barry Allen should be the Flash that is utilized in this film due to the fact that Wally West, maybe a little more notable, was Kid Flash before he became Flash. Barry Allen is a founding member of the original Justice league. Moreover, he is the first, modern, non-Golden Age (Jay Garrick) Flash. This film wants to keep everything modern and realistic I believe. Barry Allen is witty, laid-back, humorous, friendly, and generally one of the more approachable superheroes in comics. Nevertheless, hes a determined hero who can put aside the humor and aid his teammates when most needed. Looking for an actor who embodies these qualities theres no one better than Bradley Cooper. Hes not foreign to the superhero genre. He auditioned for Green Lantern competing against Ryan Reynolds. I completely believe he wouldve done a better job, but I also think hes a better fit for Flash. As stated above, Flash is a humorous and witty individual. Cooper has displayed these characteristics in countless films that go without mention. He can also delve into the grit and emotive moods of a role. He evoked those moods in
The Words and
Limitless. He could be great as Flash and although Im against an actor overshadowing a character, Cooper could be the one member of the cast who could draw in those who arent necessarily comic book fans. His name will draw in viewers. His performance would make up for his status. Notable Mention: Jaime Bell & Anton Yelchin
