We get it Hollywood, you've stumbled on the idea that if you take an iconic rock song and slow it down, you can force emotion into a trailer - or an advert for cars or insurance or toiletries or whatever. But it's now become so cliched that it's burnt out entirely in record time.

Can 2017 be the year when this silliness ends? It's manipulative garbage - trying to piggy back on the iconic status of a song, but then putting it through a mangle to appropriate some of that feeling for the thing you're trying to sell. What exactly was the matter with Bowie's version? STOP TRYING TO MAKE EVERYTHIGN EPIC BY SLOWING IT DOWN, YOU MOODY SODS!
