3. Flying Aquaman

In the short term, the idea of Aquaman jumping around in the sky stabbing Parademons and crowing like a big silly rock star is a nice one. It fits with his badass image, and puts to bed those age-old accusations that he's no good as a fish out of water.

But even from these trailers, it's very obvious that the sequence showing him being tossed about is going to have some questionable rag-doll effects. Sure, the idea is just ludicrous enough to work, but the execution suggests the effects might not be quite there.

And even worse, it represents a fundamental misunderstanding of why Aquaman is a good hero. If you're bringing him to the final fight just for someone else to throw him about, he's no more than a blunt object who could be swapped out for anyone. That's not what any Aquaman is, and it's certainly not what we should want from this one.
