Justice League Movie: 10 Reasons Nolan & Bale Shouldn't Do It

6. ...Or Better Yet, Recast Batman

But I must persist that I feel like neither Nolan nor Bale should really be involved with Justice League as far as Batman goes. Though I don't have any enthusiasm at all for the idea of rebooting Batman so soon after the TDK trilogy wrapped up, if another actor is cast as Batman, then it allows a certain degree of viewer separation; it will be easier for me to distance myself from JLA if it turns out to be terrible. There are dozens of actors who would be up for the role, and it would give Nolan and co. plausible deniability if the thing flops; otherwise the TDK trilogy will forever be associated with a (potentially) terrible spin-off that demeans the character and undermines the franchise as a whole. I have no problem with Nolan advising on Superman, but he really should let his version of the Caped Crusader lie to rest now.
