Justice League Movie: 10 Villains Zack Snyder Could Use Instead Of Darkseid

1. Brainiac

brainiac Brainiac is someone who could very easily be the focus of the next Superman solo film, but is powerful enough to take on the Justice League. He's almost made it to the big screen a couple times now (in Tim Burton's Superman Lives and J.J. Abrams' Superman Flyby), but just hasn't made the cut. He's one of the most famous and well-loved villains in DC Comics, so why not give him a shot and make him face off against the Justice League? Brainiac has gone through several iterations over the years, but certain aspects remain the same. He's often seen as a Kryptonian artificial intelligence, that survived the destruction of Krypton and travels to Earth to find its last survivor, Kal-El. In the New 52, he's known as the "Collector of Worlds" and is the mastermind behind Lex Luthor's schemes. Brainiac is not only deadly in his own right, but has a host of enemy forces at his disposal thanks to the things he's collected over the years, including deadly machinery, alien soldiers, and powerful beasts and creatures. Brainiac is also a formidable technological and psychological opponent, who could tap into Hollywood's current obsession with the Internet and the dangers of an over-technological world. So, not only could he manage to engage in fisticuffs with the Justice League, but has the power to send the rest of the planet back to the Stone Age. Now THAT is something we need to see! Tell us, what do you think of this list? Are you happy with our villain choices, or are there other foes you'd like to see take on the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the Justice League on the big screen?
