If, as suggested, DC are looking to build a cohesive screen universe for their stable of characters to rival the might and bankability of the Marvel CU, the key is confidence, as well as that key word cohesion. Like the continued use of Grant Gustin as The Flash, if Warner Bros and DC have the confidence to bring together TV and movie properties, it not only means that the movie comes with another couple of established fandoms, but it also validates the importance of those TV shows, in a way that Marvel's cross-over episodes for Agents Of SHIELD has.
