3. Green Lantern - Nathan Fillion
Some might suggest that Ryan Reynolds deserves another go, considering how well he worked in the human, cocky side of the character, but Reynolds' appropriateness for the role was only ever a runner-up to the fan fervour that initially met with rumours that Firefly's Nathan Fillion might be up for the role. DC need to distance themselves from the mistakes of the past, and in the same way that they would be extremely unlikely to bring back other characters who should flashes of brilliance in poor films (like the much maligned Jim Carrey Riddler, or Mark Strong's Sinestro), they should swerve the temptation to go with Reynolds again. In Fillion, they would have a fan favourite casting decision, and DC obviously have some faith in his appropriateness for the role, given that he has voiced the character a significant number of times.
