5. The Godlike Aquaman

We've obviously already seen an official image of Jason Momoa suited up as Aquaman, and while this awesome shot of the King of Atlantis taking on some sort of robotic threat is undeniably awesome, the majority of fans are no doubt going to be most pleased to see that the character is definitely wearing a yellow and green costume (that moody first photo of the hero didn't exactly do Arthur Curry's classic colours justice). "He's human and a God," says actor Jason Momoa in the DC Films special. "I want to see him struggle with the fact that he has these powers that he doesn't know how to handle. He hasn't been trained." While Aquaman being half human and half Atlantean is no secret, the fact that Momoa describes him as a God is possibly very telling. It's possible that this version of Aquaman is up there with Wonder Woman in terms of the mythology, and it seems like the movie definitely won't shy away from really showing off what he's capable of. It's also interesting that the Batman V Superman star highlights the fact he hasn't been trained. With that in mind, don't be surprised if this Aquaman is portrayed as more of a vicious brawler; he certainly looks like one!
