It would have been pretty disappointing if this DC Films special had failed to include a new look at the Justice League, and that's thankfully what we get with the concept art above. Placing Superman front and centre is an interesting choice, and an indication perhaps that Henry Cavill's Man Of Steel will be the leader of the team in the DC Extended Universe. This does appear to be a shot of them walking away after a battle though (is Batman injured there?), so it might be too soon to start reading too much into where each hero has been placed. However, notable by his absence in this and the other Justice League artwork is Green Lantern. Thankfully, Geoff Johns confirmed during the special that both Green Lantern and the Green Lantern Corps are going to end up factoring into Justice League. That lines up with rumours about Hal Jordan arriving on Earth at the end of the first movie to warn the team that a greater threat is on its way, though if a cameo like that is indeed being planned, we really should get some casting news at some point in the next few months. Regardless, the shot above is instantly iconic, and the mind boggles at how great the Justice League assembled will look in live-action. Better than The Avengers?
