3. Armie Hammer As Aquaman
Armie Hammer was originally strongly rumoured to replace Batman after Nolan's trilogy, and whilst he is an incredible actor I just don't see him as Batman. He appears to be a little too clean-cut, and would probably make a better Superman than a Dark Knight. For similar reasons, I can however see him as Aquaman. Hammer is now a well established actor, he is a fan favourite for the role, and he has the presence and physique to pull off the role. Give him blonde hair and BOOM! You have Aquaman. Given his own film, Aquaman would be a lot like Thor, and in the same way that his stand-alone movie was tonally different, but not destructive for The Avengers movie programme, that stand-alone could offer a different, but no less entertaining tonal approach. He has previously been a joke in DC Comics, and since Injustice: Gods Among Us came out, he has finally got the respect he needed, and now is the time to integrate him into a JLA movie. If Armie Hammer is not cast however, I could handle Jensen Ackles in the role as well. I'm also going to throw this out there aswell, if Black Manta is the villain of the Aquaman movie, then he should be played by Terrence Howard.
