Justice League Movie: Why Warner Bros NEED Nolan & Bale To Make It Work

6. It Helps Secure Major Star Power for the Other Members

Wonder Woman Hendricks If you're casting a film and you manage to land Christian Bale, that is a win in and of itself. But imagine all of the others you could bring to the table when you include Christopher Nolan. Already he's attracted Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Ken Wattanabe, Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Robin Williams, Al Pacino...you can see where I'm going with this list. Even David Bowie managed to be wrangled into the Nolan Universe for a small, but crucial role as Nikola Tesla in The Prestige. Whether they're A-Listers, or even 80's A-Listers, Nolan has a way with a casting call. A way that the Justice League films could benefit from. Imagine getting top notch actors from all corners of the world to take part in the Justice League picture. We've already had Bale as Batman and Henry Cavill is set to blow up as Superman, but who else could join in on the fun under a Nolan regime? If he so wanted, he could lock in Christina Hendricks as Wonder Woman (making Nicolas Winding Refn's job WAY easier to get that also doomed project off of the ground), he could bring Nathan Fillion in for a Green Lantern reboot (sorry Ryan Reynolds, but Fillion would be even more awesome in the role), and he could further the love he showed Anthony Michael Hall in The Dark Knight and give him the role of The Flash. (The more you think it over, the more it could make sense.) The fantasy casting possibilities are endless if you secure Nolan and Bale, or even just Nolan himself. (The rumors keep shifting and now Bale seems to be a lost cause. Which means...)
