Justice League Snyder Cut: 10 Major Changes We Already Know About

7. Much More Flash

As with Victor Stone, Barry Allen suffered from a lack of character development and screen time in Justice League. While he is certainly a more recognisable name in the mainstream than Cyborg, the DCEU version of the Flash needed far more fleshing out for audiences to care about him.

Though he did make an impact on the movie, it was more in terms of comic relief than any true substance, which leaves us to question just how much of Zack Snyder's Flash made it to the big screen.

There was a hint to a deeper story behind Barry in the movie that was never explored. Wounded by the past, and with his father set to spend the rest of his life behind bars, there is a whole other layer to Barry Allen that we didn't get to see. While much of this will be left for the Flash movie, if it ever sees the light of day, it would have helped his character immensely to see more of this side of him.

This will be viewed and developed far more in the four hours of Snyder Cut coming to HBO Max, with the director promising 'tonnes' more Flash, and a much deeper look at his emotional arc.
