Justice League Snyder Cut: 10 Major New Details You Need To Know
4. The Movie Will Boast Finished Visual Effects
We've alluded to this, of course, but the plan is indeed for Zack Snyder's Justice League to be released with not only completed visual effects, but a finished score as well. Junkie XL actually composed most of the latter before Joss Whedon decided to replace him with Avengers: Age of Ultron collaborator Danny Elfman (who gave the film a very, very different feel).
Up until yesterday, there had been speculation the "Snyder Cut" would be released as a Blade Runner-style workprint with unfinished effects, and the inclusion of storyboards and title cards filling in some of the gaps. However, Warner Bros. has clearly decided not to head down that route, as the plan is to complete the visual effects in scenes where they weren't done.
This likely means Steppenwolf will have a completely different appearance, as a deleted scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made it clear that Snyder's interpretation of that bad guy wasn't anywhere near as cartoonish as the one that ended up in Joss Whedon's Justice League.
