Justice League: The Snyder Cut - 10 Huge Moments From The Trailer You May Have Missed

Superman died at the hands of Doomsday shortly before the events of Justice League, and if there's one thing fans could have asked for from the Snyder Cut, it's the Man of Steel donning his black costume. Well, that finally happens in this teaser, and it truly is a sight to behold.

It seems like Snyder may have made a retcon with the black suit because even though he's said it was always his plan to put Superman in this costume, that deleted scene on the Justice League Blu-ray showed the hero picking his classic red and blue duds. Needless to say, it's going to be interesting seeing how the filmmaker addresses that and whether this black suit always was his plan.

Regardless, Superman clearly wears it for the final battle against Steppenwolf and right up until the end of the movie, so perhaps it will be the character's new, permanent look in Snyder's DCEU? However, that doesn't explain why he was in red and blue while under Darkseid's control, so the director may have inadvertently created a plot hole there.
