7. Billy Crudup's Henry Allen

Barry Allen's backstory sees his father imprisoned for the murder of his wife (and Barry's mother) - a crime his son doesn't believe he committed. This, of course, marks Billy Crudup's second major comic book movie role for Zack Snyder after he played Dr Manhattan in Watchmen.

And it wouldn't be a tense prison scene without the characters touching the glass so we don't miss how much they're affected by the agony of separation. He will return for The Flash.
