Kang Is A Red Herring: 10 Villains Who May Be The Next TRUE Big Bad Of The MCU

What if the big bad really is Kang the Conquerer - just not the one we see in Ant-Man 3?

With so many new characters on the way, particularly the Fantastic Four and X-Men, it wouldn’t be wise for the MCU to bring in Galactus, Apocalypse, or other major villains so soon. A version of Kang can appear in Ant-Man 3, only to be defeated by the team, making him a seeming one-and-done villain.

As the other films in the Phase play out, viewers will be fed small bread crumbs that eventually lead up to Kang's return, albeit, a different version of Kang. If Thanos could retrieve visions of the future through Nebula's memories and Doctor Strange could watch thousands of variations of the future, surely Kang will be able to view timelines with exceptional clarity.

Using Kang as a red herring for himself would be a brilliant twist that audiences would never see coming.
