Variety say James is to write, produce and lead his own comedy movie, MALL COP for Columbia Pictures. The movie follows James as a mild-mannered security guard who must take down an organised attempt from robbers to take over his mall. Is Kevin James a draw for audiences when he's not helped along by Adam Sandler or when he's dancing in a Will Smith comedy? Well if he's not and this movie flops then he only has himself to blame with writing, producing and directing. Good luck James with going CITIZEN KANE on us!
