In Mirrors, Sutherland will play an ex-cop who works security at a mall and discovers something awry in the mirrors of a department store. He tries to discover the origin of the evil. Aja has garnered a positive buzz from those in the industry for his remake of
The Hills Have Eyes and his French slasher film
Haute Tension (Switchblade Romance). Sutherland signed up for the movie after script problems delayed the much talked about 24 feature. Variety report that it won't be until next summer that filming begins on that project. Good actor + acclaimed director (although I've never seen any movie of his yet) + not half bad horror concept = good movie? Let's hope so.... the genre desperately needs it. source -
