King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

3. David Beckham's Cameo Is Super Distracting

Yes, David Beckham is in this movie as one of Vortigern's knights, bearing a giant scar on his face and getting a weirdly sizable cameo, with actual dialogue and everything.

While his cameo as a projectionist in Ritchie's last film, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a literal blink-and-you'll-miss-it affair, here Ritchie basically stops the film to point out his presence, which makes it hard to focus on what Beckham's actually saying.

It's not quite an eye-roller, but given that acting isn't exactly Becks' calling in life, a little more restraint on Ritchie's part would've gone a long way.
