1. Fans Of Classic King Arthur Will Probably Hate It
Ritchie has been very clear from the outset that this is an incredibly loose adaptation of Arthurian legends, and he sure wasn't lying.
There's a good chance those who love the whimsy of earlier tellings of the King Arthur myth will simply find Ritchie's approach too loud, gritty and obtuse.
It is nothing if not a radical update, and though this will certainly make it more appealing to teenage boys in particular, those who cherish the original character are likely to struggle to connect with this very, very Guy Ritchie take on the beloved material.
