Movie which Kingsley will star and produce revolves around Shakespeare's final moments on his deathbed recalling the life he has led.

d30a7e87dd.jpgThe awesome Ben Kingsley is to star and produce a movie about William Shakespeare and his final moments on his deathbed as he lays out his last will and testament to his lawyer. The movie appropriately is titled Will, not only after Shakespeare but also the legal document he is producing. The movie is based on an upcoming novel from Christopher Rush and has been snapped up as worldwide exclusive deal by Kinglsey's SBK Pictures, who if you haven't heard of don't be offended, it's actually their first movie.
"I created SBK Pictures with the simplest of mandates: to work with people I admire, to make life-affirming films in a style appropriate to the story, and to enthrall the audience," said Kingsley. "Christopher wrote the most amazing, literate and entertaining novel I've read in years, and I'm both honored and excited to be part of bringing Will to life."
The books 400-odd pages are basically the conversation between Shakespeare and his lawyer, with flashbacks to the author's life and good old Will getting emotional over how things have turned out for him. Kingsley will no doubt be Shakespeare himself and this should prove to be a whole lot better than that Shakespeare in Love movie a decade ago. Production is set to begin next year in the U.K. source - worst previews
