1. It's Got The Best Final Shot Of The Year (So Far)

And again, no spoilers, but Knives Out boasts a final shot that, quite simply, is the most brilliantly emphatic and creative you're likely to see all year.

It might seem simple at a first glance, but the careful framing perfectly reinforces the film's central theme and is sure to leave audiences exiting the cinema on a high.

There are of course two-and-a-half more months to go until the end of 2019, but it'll take something mightily smart and witty to top this. Johnson found a way to end his film that's sure to keep audiences discussing it long after the end credits have rolled.
