Kraven The Hunter: 10 Actors Who Could Play The Spider-Man Villain In His New Movie

In terms of genre fare, Jeffrey Dean Morgan put himself on the map with Supernatural, but is now a standout in the otherwise mostly underwhelming The Walking Dead. As Negan, his character has been through a lot in recent years, and the actor has somehow managed to make him a sympathetic anti-hero despite the brutality viewers saw upon his introduction.

Those traits are vital for Kraven the Hunter, as he's a character who needs to be both terrifying when the time calls for it, but also someone moviegoers are able to understand. Bear in mind that his comic book counterpart ultimately took his own life, and that alone proves he has more depth than many of the web-slinger's other foes.

After finally defeating Spider-Man, Kraven felt he had no more reasons left to live, and that sort of emotional complexity definitely needs to be explored on screen. Morgan is an experienced actor who can effortlessly leap between being terrifying and extremely likeable, and this could be the comic book movie role that makes up for him missing out on Batman.
