Kraven The Hunter: 10 Actors Who Could Play The Spider-Man Villain In His New Movie

It's been an interesting few years for Henry Cavill. Despite being best known for playing Superman, he established himself as one of the Mission: Impossible franchise's most memorable villains in Fallout, and later impressed as Geralt of Rivia with a very different performance in The Witcher.

Now, he's set to take on the role of Sherlock Holmes in Netflix's Enola Holmes movie, and it's clear the English actor wants to establish himself in Hollywood as more than just the Man of Steel.

A role like Kraven the Hunter would be perfect for Cavill, especially now he's made it clear he can a) play a badass villain and b) has the sort of ferocity this Marvel Comics character requires. It's not remotely difficult to imagine him battling big game or even Spider-Man himself, and from a physical standpoint, Cavill is more than impressive enough.

Cavill has a lot of range as a performer, and with no new solo outing planned for Superman, there's really no reason he can't join Sony Pictures' Universe of Marvel Characters.
