I'm known in these circles as being something of a Pixar loyalist - so much so that I'm often accused of 'clouded judgement' when not giving animated movies from rival studio's a chance. And whilst yes, I guess there might be some truth in that - a few years ago a Dreamworks Animated movie carrying the title of
Kung Fu Panda filled me with joyful glee, hinting that there might be more than just one game in town. I will argue until I'm blue in the face that Kung Fu Panda was a far more satisfying experience than those God-awful Shrek films. The teaser trailer for the sequel,

Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. But Pos new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.
