Laura Dern, Sam Neill & Jeff Goldblum All Back For Jurassic World 3

The OGs are back for another nostalgic Jurassic Park movie...

Let's all just address the dinosaur in the room - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was a bad film. It was sloppy, nonsensically written and absolutely idiotic. So, naturally, it made an absolute fortune at the box office.

The film mostly missed the first Jurassic World's smart eye for nostalgia, instead shoe-horning in a Jeff Goldblum cameo and then running so wildly away with a ridiculous cloning plot up to the most insane ending of all time that it's almost painful to remember.

The good news for fans of the first JW movie is that director Colin Trevorrow is back and he's bringing the noise from the original Jurassic Park movies. Because he's done what no Jurassic Park movie since the first has managed by getting Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum all to return for their iconic roles of Dr Ellie Sattler, Dr Ian Malcolm and Dr Alan Grant.

All three have been back before, with Goldblum first returning for The Lost World and then Neill and Dern (to a far lesser extent) appearing in Jurassic Park III and pretty much ever since, they've all been linked with cameos in the Jurassic World flicks.

Hopefully, Trevorrow gets the story back in-line, because the idea of watching dinosaurs integrating with normal society is just ludicrous outside of the Flintstones. We want a dino-action-monster movie, not a We Are The World harmony where man and dinosaur hold hands while watching the sun go down on a brave new world. That is precisely the OPPOSITE of what the first movie was about and hopefully the original stars will shepherd the right spirit back.
