The Lego Movie: 10 Moments Of Geek Heaven

1. Batman

Was there any other choice? We all saw the trailers and suspected Batman would be good. But he proved to be better than we could have ever expected. Will Arnett delivers a wonderfully gruff, dark superhero that plays with the darkness of the character we know so well. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to watch the Dark Knight trilogy in quite the same way again! From the "I only work in black. And sometimes, very, very dark gray," to his dark and tortured love song to Wyldstyle, The Lego Movie pokes a lot of fun at this character and yet he still comes off as awesomely cool (well, maybe less so when he takes many, many attempts to hit the big red button with his batarang). Kicking ass, stealing hyper drives and sneaking into Lord Business's lair as Bruce Wayne (accompanied by a hilariously, thinly disguised Uni Kitty), Batman owns this film. In fact, this might some of his best work on film to date! That's my 10 choices for geek heaven. The Lego Movie is bursting with so many moments that I know I've probably missed a few. But that's what another re-watch (or 10) is for, isn't it? In the meantime, please share your thoughts in the comments below and tell me... what were your favourite geeky moments?
