The Lego Movie: 10 Moments Of Geek Heaven

8. The Lego Sets We Ignore...

It's a throw away moment in the movie, but one we all loved. As Vitruvius enlightens Chris Pratt's Emmet (and us the audience) on the many realms of Lego (western, fantasy, city and space), he also glosses over some other "less popular" sets with a quick fire comment under his breath. The most prominent of these is the very pink Lego Friends set, designed to attract girls to the world of Lego with its own interpretation of Barbie. I can't say if Lego Friends is that popular these days... all my female friends played with Lego as a child without the need for pool houses and Dolphin Cruisers!
