Len Wiseman's day after tomorrow pic NOCTURNE

An original concept set around a bunch of survivors trying to figure out how the world ended.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, action helmer Len Wiseman (Die Hard 4, Underworld) is in talks to direct an original post-apocalyptic script entitled Nocturne at 20th Century Fox, which would suggest he is having trouble getting other high profile properties off the ground which he still has his name attached too. Those include the huge WB movie Gears of War (which a few weeks ago was sent for a re-write from Billy Ray), the presidential assassination thriller Motorcade and an adaptation of the comic book Atlantis Rising.

The project is based on an original idea about a group of people who survive the end of the world and the mystery surrounding how they got to that position. The studio is seeking writers for the project.
Details are so sketchy, we don't even know who pitched the project (was it Wiseman himself?). It's hardly even a significant story except for the fact it shows how slow progress is on Wiseman's more high profile gigs and that the dangerous duo (Fox and Wiseman) are still plotting to make movies together, which can't be good for us!
