Leonardo DiCaprio: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked
4. Kid - The Quick And The Dead (1995)
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe before they achieved worldwide fame, and Sharon Stone after Basic Instinct, The Quick And The Dead is directed by Sam Raimi years before he brought Spider-Man to the big screen, and features a screenplay worked on Joss Whedon before he was recognised as the genius he is today. And, well, it just sort of exists, there to be ignored and forgotten about. It's a weird mix of talent that didn't work, and while it's not the worst thing that DiCaprio's done, it's not a performance that people are going to remember, simply coasting by on his good looks and some skills with a pistol.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
