The Lincoln Lawyer that opens in the U.K. and U.S. tomorrow is getting it's admission price slashed Stateside to $6 through Groupon in an attempt to stimulate Box Office revenue. It's a move that record labels do regularly to hit number 1 in the charts but reducing ticket prices out of the gate is unprecedented from a major film studio. And not one you would make if you were confident about your film performing. The full statement from Lionsgate reads:
