5. Laura Speaks For The First Time

After Charles' death, Laura procures him and Logan a new vehicle, and the two have a heart-to-heart where after thanking her for helping, she replies, "De nada."

Logan is stunned that she can speak at all, which leads to an argument where she intensely, somewhat hilariously curses him out in Spanish. She follows up by smacking him across the face in a moment that's loaded with more genuine emotion than just about anything else in the X-Men franchise.

It's somewhat ironic that Laura is mute for so much of the movie when she has such a pleasant vocal cadence, and can speak pretty damn good English too. The audience is clearly supposed to be as surprised as Logan, and it plays out wonderfully.
