1. Logan Is Responsible For The Deaths Of The X-Men

The Theory: This theory is drawn straight from the Old Man Logan comic so it's undeniably well-founded. In the original story, Logan is actually the cause of a mutant massacre, killing the residents of the X-Mansion after Mysterio tricked his mind into believing that an attack on the mansion was taking place.

This of course explains Logan's seeming exile in the movie and the fact that all of the iconic mutants fans know and love aren't around anymore.

The Truth: Logan isn't remotely responsible. As mentioned, Xavier basically suggests that the onset of his dementia caused an incident in West Chester that killed at least most of the X-Men if not the majority of the mutants residing in the U.S. also.
