5. Time Travel Is Involved

The Theory: This theory was always pretty out-there, but entertaining enough that it warrants inclusion. A heavily-upvoted Reddit theory stated that Logan would take Laura back to 1983 at the end of the movie and leave her to be trained by Xavier, which would create a new unpredictable timeline for future movies.

Another compelling theory also suggested that a time-traveling Cable might show up in order to recruit Laura for the X-Force, a movie of which is currently in the works.

The Truth: On both counts, a resounding no. Time travel is so messy that it's probably for the best that Logan just stuck to doing its own thing. There's no time tinkering and no Cable.
