2. The Slo-Mo Killfest

While X-Men: Days Of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse are both roundly praised for their excellent, inventive slow-motion sequences starring Evan Peters' Quicksilver, neither of them can come even close to the brutality or sheer blood-thirsty entertainment of the slow-motion scene set in the Las Vegas hotel.

With Xavier incapacitated by the seizure he uses to stop the Reavers sneaking up on him and Laura and killing them, Logan is able to agonisingly slowly make his way to the hotel room to save the stricken pair thanks to his healing factor. It seems to take an age for him to get from the lobby to the corridor of the room, but from there, the sequence is simply jaw-dropping.

Restricted in his speed and movements by Xavier's power-draining seizure, Logan proceeds to still take down several of Pierce's Reavers in glorious slow-motion, stabbing each through the skull as they watch with horror, locked in and forced to wait for the worst death possible. It is everything you'd want R-Rated Wolverine to be and more.
