When Professor X is first introduced in his water tank "prison", he's garbling quotes, visibly affected by the deterioration of his brain. He appears to be quoting the dialogue from a Taco Bell commercial, which is as weirdly funny as it is tragic. You have to wonder how much that particular bit of product placement cost the fast food giants...?

And come to think of it, why doesn't this behaviour ever manifest itself again at any point? Was he just putting it on? Okay, so Caliban does say he's "having a bad day", but wouldn't being on the road, hunted by anti-mutant mercenaries and displaced entirely have caused some stress and led to more bad days?

It just seemed like a convenient way of making him look bad without a real follow-through.
