18. Xavier Gets Wolverine's Origin Wrong

You can forgive an old man forgetting a few details - particularly when he's suffering from a degenerative brain disease - but having him misremember Wolverine's origin as an X-Men is just careless. Particularly as its stated as irrefutable fact and in a context that requires total truth to convince Logan to do as he's told.

Xavier claims that when the X-Men "found him", he was training to be a cage fighter, which is only partly true. He was a cage fighter in bars, but he wasn't training and he wasn't found by the X-Men. Rogue accidentally stumbled across him and he took her back to the X-Mansion. Xavier is literally claiming credit for something that didn't happen.
