2. The Superb Ensemble Cast

Like the majority of Soderbergh's movies, he's assembled an absolutely fantastic supporting cast, and the aforementioned Seth MacFarlane issue aside, he exploits them perfectly.

Tatum and Adam Driver are the superbly game leads and Daniel Craig steals every scene he's in, while the likes of Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterston, Dwight Yoakam, Sebastian Stan and Hilary Swank bring plenty of flavour to the table.

It's a testament to Soderbergh's pedigree as a filmmaker that a number of these actors have mere minutes of screen time each, especially Waterston, Stan and Swank, but each makes the most of their material, and help the film sustain through even its slacker moments later on.
