4. It Maintains Some Mystery

Logan is still a few months away, but it is quite refreshing how little we know about it. We know most of the characters by now, but not quite how they fit into the story or even what the overall plot will consist of. A rare thing these days as usually by now we've seen so much that buying a ticket to opening night seems futile.

Thankfully this, the first of (probably) many trailers to come, manages to keep most of the heavy spoilers at bay. We do see a few bits and pieces which could have been left out, but for the most part the trailer intrigues without over-informing. What's happened to all the mutants? Where did the little girl come from? How is Professor Xavier still alive when Wolverine is now so old? How is known healer Wolverine covered in scars?!

There are still many questions we can scratch our heads over, and the non-comic book reading community are not going to have a clue what's going on. An ideal approach in a first trailer.
