Long Shot Review: 6 Ups & 2 Downs

4. Andy Serkis' INSANE Supporting Performance

Before you ask - yes, that's a picture of Andy Serkis dressed as Teresa May. Lionsgate hasn't yet released an image of Serkis' character in this movie, but this picture honestly isn't that far off.

Despite appearing in none of Long Shot's marketing, Serkis has a small but memorable role in the film as Parker Wembley, a grotesque media mogul who purchases the website Fred works for at the beginning of the movie, forcing him to quit.

Decked out in ridiculous fat-face prosthetics and a greasy, silken grey wig, Serkis is damn-near unrecognisable in the role, save for his distinctive eyes and gravelly voice.

Serkis may be better known for his dramatic work, but he proves himself an equally capable chameleon in the comedic realm, effortlessly delivering on the parodic sliminess of his asshat character.

It's easy to miss Serkis entirely if you're not looking for him, but now that you know, keep your eyes peeled.
